Hanif is the Founder and Chief Sociologist of ReSCI Consulting, LLC. His experience prosecuting financial crimes motivated him to answer sociological questions about why people were committing crimes at their workplace. His interests in organizations and employee behavior led him to pursue a doctorate in Sociology. His dissertation research was on the mortgage collapse of 2008. He conducted face-to-face interviews with loan originators, middle level bank executives, and state regulators and gained useful insight about the influence of culture and climate on employee behavior.
